Objective

The students understand the role of purchasing in different organizational levels and in networks. The students know especially the requirements planning process, the importance of cost management, contract management and the possibilities of e-purchasing. The objective is to attain an understanding of the possibilities and challenges of purchasing when developing the operations and the competitiveness of an organization.

Qualifications

The students are able to find information independently and to prepare reports. They have the basic knowledge of logistics processes.

Assessment criteria, satisfactory (1)

Excellent (5)
The students have attained an excellent level in the objectives. In addition, they have shown active participation during the instruction.
Good (3-4)
The students have attained a good level in the objectives. Their activity during the instruction has been irregular.
Satisfactory (1-2)
The students know the basics and understand how to apply their knowledge according to the objectives. Their activity has been irregular during the instruction.
