Materials Handling and Warehousing (5cr)

Objective

The students understand intralogistics as the part of the logistics processes. Students also understand intralogistics processes and technologies.

Content

The main content will include: inventories and warehouses, intralogistics processes, analyses and product locating, forklift trucks, conveyor systems, basics of intralogistics planning

Qualifications

The students are able to find information independently and to prepare reports. They can apply mathematics to practical examples.

Assessment criteria, satisfactory (1)

Excellent (5)
The students have attained an excellent level in the objectives. In addition, they have shown active participation during the instruction.
Good (3-4)
The students have attained a good level in the objectives. Their activity during the instruction has been irregular.
Satisfactory (1-2)
The students know the basics and understand how to apply their knowledge according to the objectives. Their activity has been irregular during the instruction.
