Objective
The students learn to draw technical component pictures with all including details and also assembly pictures with component lists and standard components.
 The students learn to produce all 2-dimensional AUTOCAD 2008 pictures with the necessary settings and to master the basics of 3-D drawing.
                    
Content
Technical drawing:
 The necessary projections with their dimensions, sections, threads, welding symbols, tolerances and fits, surface roughness symbols, standard parts marking and assembly pictures with their part lists.
 CAD: (Computer Aided Design)
 Drawing and editing 2-dimensional objects, coordinates, layers, dimensioning, blocks and printing.
 3-D: wireframe models, surface models, capacity models.

Assessment criteria, satisfactory (1)
Excellent (5)  requires skills to read and draw ordinary drawings with all their details and skills to create AUTOCAD 3-D pictures, which include several complicated details.
 Good (3-4) requires skills to read and draw ordinary drawings with the necessary details and to produce CAD pictures independently.
 Satisfactory (1-2) requires skills to understand and produce manually projections and sections from simple objects and to produce 2-D and 3-D CAD pictures by using the most common commands.
