Objective

The students know the basics of thermodynamics, wave motion, electromagnetic radiation, acoustics, beam optics, physical optics and photometry, and master their applications in logistics.

Content

Thermodynamics (1st main rule, ideal machine, cycle processes, 2nd main rule, Carnot device, comparison processes), oscillatory motion, pendulous motion, stationary wave motion, the Doppler effect, sound pressure level, noise, electromagnetic waves, the reflection and refraction of light, polarization, interference, lenses, mirrors, optical devices, photometry.
