Chemistry and Ecotechnology (5cr)

Objective

The students master the central concepts and contents of chemistry and environmentally friendly technology, production and product design. They are also able to apply them to the problems that arise within the field of environmental and mechanical engineering and wellness technology.

Content

The constitution of matter, formation of compounds, basic chemical reactions, the central phenomena affecting the chemistry of compounds, recycling and waste management, the life cycle of products, the formation of emissions, purification techniques.

Qualifications

The students can make expressions, equations or functions. The students can handle expressions and solve equations.

Assessment criteria, satisfactory (1)

Excellent (5): the students master most concepts and methods and they can apply them independently.
Good (3-4): the students master some concepts and methods and can apply them.
Satisfactory (1-2): the students understand some concepts and methods.
