Objective
The students are familiar with the operating culture of working life and able to participate in the assessment, coordination, development and management of the operation of their organisation. They can define the goals, core competencies and strategies of the organisation and master management accordingly. They can take responsibility for their own activities and are aware of the societal responsibility of the organisation. They can apply the principles of professional and value ethics of their field in their work.
Content
The business operation process (mission, business idea, competitive advantage, objectives, targets, the significance of profit etc.), the two sides of management, the tasks of a manager (performance, making work profitable, societal responsibility), organising and organisational models, the functions and objectives of an enterprise, the basics of networking.
Qualifications
The students are familiar with the basics of entrepreneurial activity.
Assessment criteria, satisfactory (1)
Assessment is based on the following criteria: 1) active class participation; 2) team work skills and ability to present results in writing and orally; 3) level of the written output of the independent study unit. Successful completion 44% of total points, excellent 90% of total points.
