World of Dance 1 (3cr)

Objective

The students are familiar with the basics of dance education and the styles of western art dance. They have developed their dance techniques and bodily skills as well as rhythmic and motional expression. They are able to analyse dance and to make dance compositions.

Content

Forms of western art dance, e.g. ballet, jazz and modern dance; topical phenomena in dance; expression and dance workshop

Qualifications

No previous experience of dance is required.
