Objective
The Student recognizes the field of activity of the Tourism and Services Management sector and the principal factors affecting it. The student understands the concept of service business and the international operating environment of the sector. The student understands the role of service business as a growth factor of the sector and is capable of combining service-related business logic with the strengthening of a company's competitiveness. Student understands the international nature of the field and importance for capability to work in multicultural teams. Student knows the basic concepts of intercultural communication and, with the help of the relevant theories, is able to identify and appreciate cultural diversities in intercultural interaction. The student is capable of applying JAMK's reporting instructions in their written assignments and using references accordingly.
