Objective

A successful completion will provide the student with various theories and methods for working in the national and international entertainment markets. The student will be able to understand the frameworks in marketing and promoting in Europe will be. The student will also have deeper knowledge of development of marketing plans, the inter relationships between markets. He understands the role of new media as an international marketing tool.

Content

Central topics include the purpose of marketing and marketing management. After an introduction to the historical development og marketing, including its definitions and ceoncepts, the course will deal with topics such as the strategic basis of marketing, consumer behaviour (needs, wishes, requirements and demand), segmentation, market analyses and forcasts, relational and dialogue marketing, service marketing and quality of service, ethics, the environment and social responsibilities.
