Logistics and Technology of Live EventsLaajuus (5 cr)

Objective

The student understands what kind of different professional roles are involved in logistics and technology of live events. The student also is able to do a rational budget and schedule for a different kind of live events concerning the technical aspect. Moreover students learn what kind of possibilities new technologies gives when planning a live event.

Content

The course introduces students from a technological and logistical point of view how to produce a live event. In this course student gets familiar with different kind of conventions when creating a live event. On lectures student receives basic vocabulary and a principal abstracts of the subject that they have skills to negotiate with the participants in live event industry as a manager or a producer. The course also includes both group and personal assignments where the students have to create a practical concept for a live event.
