Objective
The purpose of this independent self-study virtual course is to help students to understand the essentials of EC (electronic commerce) - how it is being conducted and managed. Student should also be able to assess major opportunities, limitations, issues, and risks. Today, EC is going through the period of consolidation in which enthusiasm for new technologies and ideas is now being accompanied by careful attention to proper strategy and implementation. Most of all, people recognize that e-business has two parts, it is not just about technology, it is also about business.
The textbook offers user friendly, comprehensive easy to read material. In this course Electronic Commerce is viewed as an interdisciplinary approach. Course offers real-world approach with global perspective based on current, solid theoretical background.
