Objective
Student knows the basic composition of the aircraft and the theory of the flight. The student will be familiar with the main aspects of professional aviation and have an understanding of aviation regulations, the required organisations and cost elements involved in commercial and military flight operations.
EUR-ACE Engineering Analysis: Student understands understands the big picture of Aviation Logistics and student is able to analyse success factors of profitable business in aviation field.
EUR-ACE Engineering Design: Student is able to re-engineer processes in aviation logistics. Student can succesfully plan logistic operations in aviation business.
TEL Transportation: Student understands processes and international legistlation in aviation transport.
JAMK Working Life: Student knows practices of international flight operations and aviation logistics.
Content
Basic components and structure of an airplane. Basic aerodynamics. Aviation regulations and requirements of a commercial air operator. Cost elements of aircraft operations.
