•know the development of Finnish consumer society and can view changes from a consumer perspective •understand the interdependency between national economy institutions and households
•know the development of household resources and, in particular, incomes and consumption
•understand the significance of consumption potential as part of the economic activities of consumers
•recognize the characteristics of the various consumer groups and the factors affecting consumption
•can use relevant information sources
