Objective
The student will understand the importance of nutrition and eating from a personal and national health standpoint as well as know key attributes in different phases of life. The student knows the fundamentals of nutritional physiology, nutrient calculation and nutritional recommendations. The student will be able to identify factors affecting individual habits related to nutrition and eating. The student will gain an understanding of promoting individual and community health through nutritional choices. He/she will be able to form an opinion concerning the connection of nutrition to more commonly occurring national diseases and individual well-being.

- Finding and applying reliable information for use in achieving set goals.
- Familiarisation visits in small groups

The student can independently acquire information, learn and develop his/her study methods. He/she possesses problem-solving skills relative to his/her level of study and is also able to use these skills in unanticipated situations. The student assumes responsibility for vocational assignments and projects given, working within agreed parameters as well as using a developmental approach that applies the principles of internal entrepreneurship.
He/she knows how to plan, organise and develop his/her own work. The student is actively involved in classroom lessons, small group work sessions and virtual study, and completes course assignments in accordance with given instructions.
